Ohad is a Co-Founding Partner of Marker and is based in our Herzliya office. Before Marker, Ohad was a partner at Venrock where he oversaw international investing. Previously, Ohad served as Chairman and CEO of the Pan European Interoute Communications Group. He has also held management potions at companies including VocalTec Communications and Packard Bell Electronics. Ohad holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Lluis is a Principal in our New York office and is the senior member of our investment team. Before joining Marker in 2012, Lluis was a Vice President at Fredericks Michael & Co., a boutique investment bank. Previously, he was a consultant at Roland Berger in their Barcelona and Madrid offices. Lluis holds a BS from Esade Business School in Spain, an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
Thomas is a Co-Founding Partner of Marker and is based in our New York office. Before Marker, he was a Partner at Crescent Point Group, an investment firm focused on Asia. Previously, Thomas worked in investment banking at Lazard and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in New York. He holds a post-graduate degree from the EdHEC business school in France and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pompidou Center.
Clayton is our General Counsel and is based in our New York office. Before joining Marker in 2012, Clayton practiced law in New York for 30 years and was a partner at several established law firms including Humes & Wagner, Windels, Marx and Ross & Hardies. Clayton has represented numerous financial, securities, trading, banking and other institutions as well as acted as outside general counsel. Clayton holds a BA (Cum Laude, College Scholar) from Harvard College, where he concentrated in History, and a JD from the University of Virginia Law School.
Dan is our CFO and COO and is based in our New York office. Before joining Marker in 2012, Dan was a Principal at Siguler Guff & Company, LP where he was actively involved in our operational and financial processes and led our Operational Due Diligence program. Previously, Dan was a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group and Goldman Sachs. Dan earned a BS in Accounting and a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
Rick is the Founding Partner of Marker and is based in our New York office. Before Marker, he was a Founding and Managing Partner of Crescent Point Group, a venture growth firm based in Singapore, where he lived for over 15 years. Rick’s first investment was leading the Series A Round of AirAsia, a truly disruptive company that went on to achieve extraordinary success by making airline travel available to everyone in Asia. Rick began his career working in the investment banking departments at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. He holds a BA (Cum Laude and Honors Thesis) from Middlebury College, where he studied Art and Physics. He also serves on the Middlebury College Board of Trustees.
Yuval is a Co-Founding Partner of Marker and is based in the firm’s Herzliya office. Before Marker, Yuval was an active angel investor in Israel. Previously, he served as a General Manager at Cisco, where he ran a business unit in Cisco's Service Provider group. Yuval also co-founded P-Cube and Pentacom, and led the creation of InfoGear Technology Corporation, all three of which were acquired by Cisco. Earlier in his career, Yuval headed engineering at VocalTec Communications, where he helped develop the first VoIP applications and solutions. Prior to VocalTec, Yuval worked at Motorola and National Semiconductor in a variety of technology, software development, and management roles. Yuval earned a BSC in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and holds a variety of technology patents.
Jenna is an Administrative Assistant in our New York office. Before joining Marker in 2015, Jenna was the Office Manager at DEX New York, an independent beauty label. Jenna graduated from Fordham University where she earned a B.S. in Psychology with a Pre-Med concentration and co-authored several research studies.
